Spring 2020 Registration Open

We have opened our registration for the Spring 2020 season!  We know it’s cold out right now, but the deal is hot if you register in January.  Register now online at https://fruitlandlittleleague.org

The cost for FLL in Spring 2020 is $95 for Tee Ball and Machine Pitch, and $115 for Minors, Majors, and Intermediate/Junior.  For the month of January, we are offering a $5 discount on all registrations.  We also offer a $10 family discount for each additional child.

Note:  Each registration checkout will incur a $3 charge from the website provider, so try to register all your children at one time if possible.  This charge will be incurred even during walk-in registrations. All other charges such as credit card processing is incurred by the league.

We have updated our registration forms so there are no more separate medical waiver and parent code of conduct forms.  This should make registration much easier!

Opening day is Saturday, April 4th, 2020

I would prefer to do a walk-in registration.  Where do I find registration forms? Walk-in registrations will be available at the FLL field house, but will be done on laptops just as you would from the comfort of your home or office.  We will no longer be taking paper registrations, as all information needs to be entered in our online system to submit to Little League International, run background checks, etc.

Walk-in registration will be held on the following dates and times:

Saturday, February 1 - 9am to Noon
Saturday, February 8 - 9am to Noon
Saturday, February 15 - 9am to Noon
Saturday, February 22 - 9am to Noon
Wednesday, February 26 - 6pm to 8pm

What information do I need to register?

You will need basic personal information about the player and parent/guardian, including contact information, home address, shirt and hat size, allergy and other health insurance information, etc.  Residency information will also be needed for divisions that have all-stars.

What are the residency requirements and what information is needed?

Divisions that have All-Stars (Pitching Machine, Minors, Majors, Intermediate) will be required to submit prove of residency. Proof of residency is established and supported by ONE or more documents from EACH of the three groups of documents.  See the Little League Residency Checklist for more information, and here is a quick guide:

Group 1 - Driver's license, school records, vehicle records, employment records, insurance documents

Group 2- Welfare/child care records, federal records, State records, Local/municipal records, support payment records, homeowner, or miltary records

Group 3 - Voter's registration, Utility bills, Financial records, Medical records, or Internet, cable, or satellite records

If you do not reside in the FLL boundaries but the child attends school within the boundaries (for example, St. Francis de Sales or Stepping Stones) you may provide a document indicating enrollment for the current academic year.  This includes the School Enrollment Form or an official/certified enrollment record from the school that includes the signature of the school's senior administrator.

How do I know if I live in the boundaries of Fruitland Little League? The Little League Finder is the best tool for finding out which little league boundary contains your home or school.  You can also find this information on the District 8 Website, and look for boundary maps.

What are the full residence and school eligibility requirements?Little League's website has the Residence Eligibility Requirements website as a guide on all the requirements we must adhere to for playing in the league.

What division should my child play in?

The Little League Age Determination website can be used to find out the "Little League Age" of your child.  The age determination date is the actual age of the child on August 31 of the current year.  There is a printable 2020 Little League Age Chart that can be used as a reference as well.

Our online registration identifies the available divisions automatically based on your child's age, but here's the general guidelines:

Tee Ball (Coach Pitch) - Ages 4-6*

Machine Pitch - Ages 6-8*

Minor - Ages 9-10

Major - Ages 11-12

Intermediate - Ages 12-13

Junior - Ages 13-14

*Note - League Age 6 players could play either, and is generally decided by experience.  A 6 year-old who has never played before may want to play in tee ball (coach pitch) where a 6 year-old who has played two years in Tee Ball may want to move up to Pitching Machine.

Any special requests to 'play up' or 'play down' will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  Please understand that All-Stars are selected from the pool of players who played in that division.  For example, a player who is the league age to play in Minors, but 'plays up' in Majors, would not be eligible to be selected for the Minors All-Star team.

The number of registrations for Intermediate and Junior league fluxuate each year, and are subject to be combined together, or combined with other leagues.

How do I sign up for email and text alerts from the league? The easiest way is to click the Register button on our website.  Even if you are not registering a child to play, you can register for our site and follow the instructions to enter your email address and mobile number to be added.
